Box Challenge
Happy New Year everyone. Here I am doing challenge for Color Conception Challenge and theme is make Boxes or Bag or Baskets.
I choose Boxes because I had new score board to make boxes, so first of all I got white card of 8x8 square then I score it with my new score board called gift boxes as photo show below
Then you fold it up when the score is and it should look like this...
Next is I got sliver card and cut square for the top of the box and at the side of the box then do same for white card but abit smaller size then sliver card. I got my clear stamp of wedding ring from hobbycraft and stamp it on sliver ink pad and then I put clear embossing powder and heat it up. I have sakura gelly roll of clear star to colour my wedding ring to make it look like glitter. Now for the edge is use die cut called delicate chain from my local craft shop on sliver card. Here the photo of what it look like.....
The top of the box I make Lilly flowers using tonic studio punch which is look like this....
Then I should have 6 petals and use 1 petal for the leaf. Colour it in which I use distress marker pens and then i score them and curl them then stick together. Using tattered lace die cut called sentiment block which I use Anniversary word to put on the box and there you have it. Hope you like it ?

Hi all it lovely that I have move to new home and manage to get my craft out.
Today it challenge for me at http://amixedmediacolorchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/a-mixed-media-color-challenge-10.html using these colours. I start with pearl white acrylic paint all the card with brayer to give texture then got my spectrum noir pens but using three colours of their theme in challenge which is tan , peach , brown but use light colour first then dark colour last. I decided to use alcohol blending solution to give good texture as well and that my background done.
I stamp the lady which my friend gave me so I dont know what is it called shame though but nice stamp and I embossed clear then colour in it but try to keep theme colour then I got tonic studios called elegant vine oval to cut my stamp then using spectrum noir of brown to colour my vine oval. I actually made bow using left over of my background just cut piece of strip and bwnd over in the middle of strip then I made roses. I got my mirco power of theme colours again which i got peach and tan colour and mixed with water and brush it on cards then I got small cup and big cup draw round circle and I got waving scissors to cut spiral and roll it up up there you have roses. One stuck on the bow which is big one and three small one at bottom of oval then punch some leafs with it. I have got white lace ribbon which not got colour for theme but had a thought I use peach mirco power and brush it on the lace ribbon now I got theme colour. I have assorted letters beads so got put for you on the card, so alcohol ink of ginger which make it brown in a plastic cup and put beads in and shake it round to make sure beads are cover in ink once dry scrap with craft knife of a letter to get white so it can easily see and stick it with hot glue.
Well hope you and have a go
